This is an out-of-print short volume of poetry and prose in Greek and English I put together in Athens in 1990. I suppose I might have a few copies lying around in case anyone feels they must have one.

This is an out-of-print volume of stories and some poetry our Beijing writers’ group (all foreigners) put out in 1992. The contributors included journalists, educators, and embassy people.

After one of my early attempts at a novel received scores of rejections (nothing unusual there, right) I put this anthology of stories together when I was stationed in Cyprus in 1997. The book contains stories set in Afghanistan, China, Cyprus, Hong Kong, Iraq, Malta, and Tunisia. A second edition was done in 2001. Both editions pretty much sold-out. I believe there are some copies floating around on Amazon, but if you can’t find it there, I might still have a few copies on this or that shelf. Maybe we should do third printing of this one.

This book of short stories (printed in 2001) set in Pakistan contained various tales composed for my 200 mates (some of them are in the stories) in the foreign community around the Peshawar area when I was working there 1999-2001. I usually readily admit to others, “Nobody else read it.” With one exception: “A Chase in the Old City” was translated into Pashtu and published with a different title in Sahaar in April 2001. If anybody wants a copy of this book, I think I have plenty of extras.
